Job Description
Amazon is hiring a Sortation Night Shift Mechanic at our Whitestown sort center near Indianapolis. Working overnight, you will have access to sortation equipment during reduced-volume periods to perform PM tasks, make corrective repairs identified during day shift, replace worn sort shoes and divert components, and prepare the system for peak morning sort operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sortation or conveyor maintenance experience
- Ability to work permanent night shift (7 PM - 5:30 AM)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Mechanical aptitude for sorter component replacement
- Night shift differential pay included
