Job Description
FedEx Ground is seeking a Sortation System Mechanic to maintain cross-belt and sliding shoe sortation equipment at our Memphis hub. This is a hands-on role where you will diagnose mechanical failures, replace divert shoes, adjust belt tension, and work with the controls team to resolve system faults during peak operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably with sortation systems
- Knowledge of conveyor and sortation components including diverters, merges, and induction stations
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Must be available for overnight shifts
