Job Description
Grainger is looking for an Overhead Hoist Technician to maintain and inspect chain and wire rope hoists at our Chicago-area distribution facilities. You will perform OSHA-compliant hoist inspections, load test hoists, replace chains and hooks, service trolley wheels, and maintain inspection documentation for regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hoist or overhead crane maintenance experience
- Knowledge of OSHA hoist inspection requirements and ASME B30 standards
- Chain and wire rope inspection skills
- Electrical troubleshooting for pendant and radio controls
- Ability to work at heights on building structures
