Job Description
FedEx is seeking an Automated Sortation Engineer to optimize and maintain high-throughput sortation systems at our Indianapolis hub. You will analyze sort performance data, implement control logic improvements, lead equipment upgrade projects, and collaborate with operations to meet seasonal volume demands.
Requirements
- 4+ years of sortation system engineering or maintenance experience
- PLC programming skills (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Data analytics experience for sort accuracy and throughput optimization
- Project management skills for system upgrade initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
