Job Description
Fortna is seeking a Warehouse Controls Systems Engineer to develop WCS solutions that bridge the gap between WMS and material handling equipment. You will write PLC code, develop WCS application logic in C# or Java, integrate with conveyor and sortation controls, and commission systems at customer sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both software and hardware.
Requirements
- 4+ years of warehouse controls or automation software development experience
- PLC programming skills (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Software development experience in C#, Java, or similar languages
- Understanding of material handling equipment and warehouse operations
- Travel up to 40% for commissioning projects
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
