Job Description
Dematic is seeking a Sortation System Software Engineer to develop control software for next-generation sortation platforms. Based in the Minneapolis area, you will write real-time control algorithms for package routing, develop sort plan optimization logic, integrate with barcode scanning and dimensioning systems, and test software on both simulated and live sortation hardware.
Requirements
- 4+ years of embedded or real-time software development experience
- C++ or C# programming skills for real-time control applications
- Understanding of sortation system mechanics and control principles
- Experience with industrial communication protocols
- Algorithm development for optimization and routing
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or software engineering
