Job Description
Swisslog is looking for a Shuttle AS/RS Field Engineer to support our PowerStore shuttle system at a grocery customer micro-fulfillment center in the Bronx. You will maintain shuttle vehicles, lifts, and the racking structure, optimize system throughput, and serve as the primary on-site technical resource for this advanced automated fulfillment solution.
Requirements
- 4+ years of AS/RS or complex automation field experience
- Strong servo drive and motion control troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLC platforms
- Ability to work independently as the sole on-site engineer
- Grocery or food distribution industry experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
