Job Description
Fortna is hiring a Picking System Controls Engineer to develop automation solutions for order fulfillment systems in the greater Los Angeles area. You will program PLCs for pick-to-light, put-to-light, and goods-to-person systems, develop zone controller logic, and integrate picking systems with WMS and WCS platforms.
Requirements
- 4+ years of controls engineering experience in warehouse automation
- Allen-Bradley PLC programming proficiency
- Experience with pick-to-light zone controller integration
- Understanding of order fulfillment processes and wave management
- Software integration skills (APIs, database queries)
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science
