Job Description
Dematic is hiring a Pick-to-Light Controls Engineer for projects in the Research Triangle area. You will program zone controllers for pick-to-light and put-to-light systems, develop PLC interfaces, integrate with WMS order management, and commission complete light-directed picking solutions at customer warehouses.
Requirements
- 3+ years of controls engineering experience with picking systems
- PLC programming for zone controller communication
- Understanding of serial and Ethernet-based light module protocols
- WMS integration experience (REST APIs, database triggers)
- Commissioning and customer acceptance testing experience
