Job Description
Mars Inc. is hiring a Pallet Stretch Hood Technician for our distribution facility in Spartanburg. You will maintain stretch hood wrapping machines that apply elastic film hoods over palletized product for weather protection during outdoor storage and transport. This specialized role involves film handling, gripper adjustment, heat sealing maintenance, and PLC-based troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 2+ years of packaging machinery maintenance experience
- Understanding of stretch hood film properties and application
- PLC basic troubleshooting and HMI operation
- Pneumatic system maintenance skills
- Ability to work around active shipping dock operations
