Job Description
Sysco is hiring a Stretch Wrapper Technician for our Houston distribution center. You will maintain turntable and rotary arm stretch wrappers, adjust film tension and wrap patterns, replace film carriages and cut-and-clamp assemblies, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize pallet wrap failures on the shipping dock.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience maintaining stretch wrapping equipment
- Basic mechanical skills including bearing and chain replacement
- Understanding of film pre-stretch ratios and wrap pattern optimization
- Ability to troubleshoot VFDs and photo-eye sensors
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly
