Job Description
JLL is seeking a Mezzanine Safety Inspector to evaluate pick module and mezzanine structures at managed warehouse properties in the Chicago area. You will inspect structural steel connections, guard rails, stair systems, gate mechanisms, and fire suppression compliance, preparing detailed condition reports with prioritized remediation recommendations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of structural inspection or industrial safety experience
- Knowledge of IBC building codes for mezzanine structures
- Understanding of fall protection and guard rail standards
- Report writing with photo documentation skills
- Comfort working at elevated heights on mezzanine structures
- OSHA 30 or similar safety certification
