Job Description
Dematic is seeking a Conveyor System Design Engineer at our Milwaukee-area office. You will design conveyor system layouts for distribution centers, select components based on product and throughput requirements, create 3D models and drawings, and collaborate with controls engineers and project managers to deliver complete conveyor solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of conveyor system design experience
- AutoCAD and SolidWorks or Inventor proficiency
- Knowledge of conveyor components, speeds, accumulation, and merging
- Throughput calculation and system sizing skills
- Understanding of facility constraints and equipment integration
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
