Job Description
Walmart is seeking a Conveyor Motor Technician at our PA distribution center near Pottsville. Specializing in conveyor drive motors, you will test motor winding insulation, replace failed motors, align couplings, configure VFD parameters, and maintain a motor inventory to enable quick swap-outs during breakdown situations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of electric motor maintenance experience
- Motor testing skills (megger, winding resistance, vibration)
- Coupling alignment and shaft key replacement skills
- VFD parameter configuration for different motor types
- Understanding of motor specifications (HP, RPM, frame sizes)
