Job Description
Target is hiring a Belt Conveyor Technician at our Jacksonville distribution center. You will focus on maintaining belt conveyor systems throughout the facility, performing belt tracking adjustments, splicing torn or worn belts, replacing pulleys and idlers, and maintaining proper belt tension to prevent slippage and excessive wear.
Requirements
- 1+ years of conveyor or industrial maintenance experience
- Belt tracking and tensioning skills
- Ability to perform belt splices (mechanical and vulcanized)
- Pulley lagging and idler roller replacement experience
- Physical fitness for accessing conveyor structures
