Job Description
ABB is hiring a Vision-Guided Robot Tech to support machine vision integrations with robotic picking and palletizing cells at customer sites in New Jersey. You will calibrate 2D and 3D vision cameras, tune detection algorithms, align robot-to-camera coordinate systems, and troubleshoot vision-guided pick failures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of machine vision or robotics experience
- Understanding of camera calibration and hand-eye coordination
- Experience with Cognex, SICK, or Keyence 3D vision systems
- Robot programming basics for vision offset adjustments
- Optics and lighting knowledge for image quality optimization
