Job Description
Mars Inc. is looking for a Chain Conveyor Mechanic at our pet food distribution center in Kansas City. You will maintain drag chain conveyors, overhead power-and-free systems, and accumulation conveyor lines. The position involves replacing chains, sprockets, and wear strips, and performing precision alignment of drive and take-up assemblies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of chain conveyor maintenance experience
- Proficiency with chain measurement, cutting, and installation
- Sprocket alignment and shaft keyway repair skills
- Ability to work in dusty environments with proper respiratory protection
- Food manufacturing or GFSI facility experience preferred
